American TV sucks

let me just say i think american t.v is the most entertaining in the world.. i love the citcoms (seinfelt, everybody loves raymond ect ect) i grew up with rawhide, the virginian, star treck, rovkford files, starsky and hutch ect ect.. at the moment iam watching americas got talent (maybe it hasnt) but the shows great entertainment.

then i rememberd when i was in the u.s and how i felt american t.v sucked with all those commercials.. tell me do you have non commercial t.v.in the states?.

how much time is given to commersials with a 22 minute seinfet episode?.

The commercials drive me nutz... I think at this point, there is more commercial time in a program than there is of the actual program itself.

panty Hose at Meeting?

a friend of mine went to work in ny for a few months.. it was the middle of summer, and baking hot.. after the meeting an elder approached her and asked why wasnt she wearing panty hose at the kingdumb hell.. she said its too hot.. he said it disrespects jehoobie.. she said "so does staring at my legs during the meeting.".

i have also heard complaints that a bra strap might be visible under a blouse, so cardigans should still be worn.. how do these creeps cope when sitting on a beach?.

who was the gibbering buddy who sunbathed on the roof of beth hell showing off his packet in skimpy trunks?.

the hall i grew up in had hideous carpet from a company in georgia, usa that was purportedly owned by jws called "world carpet" (not very spiritual sounding in retrospect).

i saw this monstrous stuff all over the usa.

i'm pretty sure bethel facilities even got some of this stuff back in then.. .

At a 2 day assembly ...the point that the brother spoke about that drove me mad....."don't hug your husband, wife or child during prayer".

i attended one day of a two day assembly and did ok until the very last talk.

the brother was from bethal and well jw's pay closer attention to their talks, cause that is when some new info is given,,,right.

well anyways i lost focus and began to daydream, cause it became one of those talks that just talks about wasting time.

Got to Mess with some Witlesses on my Vacation

so this last week i went to visit a very dear friend of mine about 21 hours away.

she is one of the two people i have had a major hand in helping to see the bullshit of the watchtower religion.

in any case, as we were driving through a neighborhood, guess what we saw.

The Oil markets should be closed to anyone who doesn't have a material business interest in the use or commerce of oil (as in actual oil, not "oil futures stock market positions"). - Sixofnine

THERE IS NO ACTUAL OIL UNTIL THE FUTURES CONTRACT IS DELIVERED ON THE ACTUAL OIL. It's all traded contracts. Geez,....oh well, you just don't get it. All I can say is "I do get it". $$$.... Get it?

With all due respect, you're advocating a Socialist/Communist environment. If not, please describe how your system would be different from a Socialist/Communist Government. If your system were implemented, the system would collapse.

If you are advocating a socialist or Communist Government... then I have no interest in speaking with you...ever. This kind of thinking is what will bring down America.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, people (investors / traders) were shorting the market when Oil was dropping from $140.00. So they made money when Oil was dropping too. Now "Naked" short selling,....that's a whole different topic, and it's not what obviously comes to mind. People were making a killing with that on the Banking fiasco.
